Four Treasures of the Chinese Study

The San Diego Chinese Historical Museum will showcase a collection of artifacts and art pieces representing the Chinese “Four Treasures,” which are: ink stick, ink stone, writing brush, and paper. These treasures are used in the study of Chinese calligraphy and writing. Pieces and personal effects from over 20 local artists will be on display.

Exhibition in collaboration with the Confucius Institute at San Diego State University.

We are excited to host the grand opening of Four Treasures of Chinese Study. Experience a live demonstration with three local artists of traditional Chinese calligraphy and painting followed by light refreshments.
