The Great Compromise: China and the Second World War

April 15, 2017 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

$5

Presented by Guest Lecturer: Vincent Dang

In a largely unsung chapter of one of the most widespread conflicts in all of history, China, a state locked in turmoil and war, is struck by the rising Japanese Empire. Witness as two mortal enemies band together against a common enemy to defend their homeland from invasion. Learn about the heroic acts of American volunteers and pilots as they desperately assist the crumbling nation by any means necessary. See the rise of the new Chinese industry as the war effort awakens the nation and its technology.

Admission: $5 for adults, FREE for SDCHM members, children 12 and under, and students with ID.

Please RSVP to info@sdchm.org or 619.338.9888.
