Presented by Tommy Giaquinto, Director and Chief Archivist of the San Diego Police Museum
San Diego’s Stingaree District has a vibrant and exciting history as it once contained the Chinatown, the Red Light District, and many other areas of debauchery all in one small neighborhood along San Diego Bay. Learn about the role of law enforcement from 1850 to 1920 and how the police attempted to “police” this infamous neighborhood during its formation.
Admission: $5 for adults, FREE for SDCHM members, children 12 and under, and students with ID.
