About the Archive & Learning Center

Since 1998, education and outreach programs have brought history to classrooms, community groups and businesses around San Diego. In addition to presenting informative tours and lectures, museum staff members take Classroom Exhibit Presentations into local schools to teach about the Qin Dynasty, Chinese calligraphy, Chinese paper cutting or other cultural and historical topics.  In 2010, the museum purchased a new building for use as an Archive and Learning Center, which will feature classrooms, artifact storage and archival research facilities.

The addition of this new facility marks a significant step in the expansion of the museum and offers the opportunity for museum members and friends to leave a lasting legacy by making a donation to the building fund.  Donations at all levels are meaningful gifts to the museum.  For those who are interested in making larger donations, several naming opportunities are available.  Please contact the museum for more information.
