Donations of any amount can be made through PayPal or checks can be mailed directly to the museum.  As a non-profit organization, all donations and membership dues are used toward society and museum exhibits, projects, archival and building maintenance, as well as community outreach programs.  It is you, as generous donors, who enable us to share Chinese and Chinese American history with the San Diego community.  Thank you in advance for your support of the museum!

DONATE A GIFT TO THE COLLECTION

Thank you for your interest in donating one or more artifacts to the museum’s collection! In order to assist us with our review of your proposed donation, please fill out the Proposed Artifact Donation Form and submit it to the museum by mail or email.  Please include a photograph of each of the items under consideration (please note that photos will not be returned). The museum cannot accept or be responsible for any item left in the custody of museum personnel on the museum premises without a prior written agreement from the museum.  Thank you again for your consideration in making a permanent donation to the museum’s collection.

Please keep in mind that not all artifacts considered for donation to the museum can be accepted, and that anyone wishing to donate an artifact must fill out the Proposed Artifact Donation Form. Also, please note that the responsibility of appraising all donations remains with the donor. The museum is not allowed to provide written appraisals for income tax purposes, but will do its utmost to suggest reputable appraisers.
