Membership Information

As a nonprofit organization, the San Diego Chinese Historical Museum depends upon the generosity and interest of donors to keep the Museum operating. Each donation helps the San Diego Chinese Historical Museum to fulfill its mission:

"To collect, preserve and share the Chinese-American experience and Chinese history, culture and art to educate the community and visitors."

Since 1996, the Museum has presented more than 40 exhibits and participated in more than a hundred community events. Help the San Diego Chinese Historical Museum continue this excellent service to the community by becoming a member.

Register

You can stop by the museum to pick up a membership application or download it. Fill it out and return it along with your membership fee. A confirmation letter, along with your membership card, will be sent to you within two weeks.

Volunteer

Now that the Museum has more than doubled in size with the opening of the Sun Yat Sen Memorial Extension, volunteers are needed. If you are interested in being a docent or working in the museum gift shop, please contact the museum.
