Chang-fu for noblewomen. The design of this gown of orange silk is typical of the late Ching Dynasty with its loose-fitting cuffs and waist. Embroidered motifs on the gown include butterflies among peonies (longevity and fertility), goldfish (abundance and regeneration) and a pair of Yang Yuan or Mandarin Duck (eternal love).
